Making the Ordinary Extraordinary with Teresa Funke

Sept. 16, 3-4:30 p.m.
Wolverine Farm Letterpress & Publick House
316 Willow St., Fort Collins CO 80524

This year’s Fort Collins Reads Companion Author, Teresa Funke, believes there is no such thing as an ordinary experience. All seven of her World War II books have been inspired by the memories of very ordinary people whose behind-the-scenes contributions to the war effort changed their lives, their families, their communities, and our nation. Those memories became the unforgettable stories in Teresa’s fictional books, including Dancing in Combat Boots and her newest title, War on a Sunday Morning. In a departure from her usual author talk, Teresa will share the challenges all writers face in bringing their stories to life and explain why every story and every memory counts, including the ones inside of you.

Teresa R. Funke is an author, speaker, and writer’s coach. You can find out more about her and her creative pursuits at her website, Facebook, and YouTube pages:
